Please read the following information carefully before filling in the media accreditation request form.

Limited passes available • Due to the amount of requests that we receive to cover Osheaga, we will be limited in how many passes we can issue this year. Media will be limited to one pass per outlet, with the exception of very specific cases.

Freelance Writers • Freelance writers must provide an email from the editor of the publication they are writing for attesting to their assignment. Please send the email to osheaga@leisaleegroup.com .

Student publications • We require an email from the editor confirming that you are the only student assigned to cover the festival. Please send the email to osheaga@leisaleegroup.com .

Radio • Please note that we do not accredit radio staff who are not on the air. The station program director will have to fill in the accreditation form including all the station staff who want to cover Osheaga.

TV shows (other than the news) • The Program Director / Producer must submit one request to have on-air staff attend the festival.

Web-based media • We require the number of monthly visitors you receive, and the number of monthly page visits, as well as your Alexa ranking (available at www.alexa.com).

Freelance photographers and wire services • Freelance photographers and wire services will not be accredited.

Band crew/Photographers • If you are affiliated with a band, you must obtain entry and passes via the band. We will not be accepting requests from film-makers.

Pit Access • The number of photographers who have access to the photo pit will be extremely limited and only major media will be considered. Only SLR cameras will be allowed into the pit. No video cameras will be allowed in the pit. Official photos will be available for download during Osheaga weekend for all media. Please remember that some of these restrictions are imposed due to safety concerns and band requests.

Advance coverage • If you are requesting accreditation to cover the festival, you must have already mentioned the upcoming dates in your publication or Web site. If you have not covered Osheaga in the past two years, please send a copy of your publication to:

All local requests must be received by June 1. We will respond by July 6. This year, due to the volume of requests that have to be processed, we cannot accept late requests, submitted after the deadline.
