Osheaga would like to thank all of the stellar artists, partners, and dedicated fans who came out in droves to support what has become one of North America’s premier music festivals!
Osheaga 2010 was the best edition yet, from a lineup that included our number one most requested band (Arcade Fire) and a swath of other incredible artists, more delicious food & beverage choices than any previous year, and a record-breaking showing of close to 53,000 fans. We had a blast and hope you did too!
The revised Sunday schedule has just been announced! Metric is now on at 8:30 on Mountain Stage, Sonic Youth now 7:35 on River Stage, Jon Spencer now at 7:15 on Green Stage, Devo now at 9:15 on Green Stage. Visit our schedule page to see how the times pan-out.
OSHEAGA is sorry to announce the cancellation of deadmau5 performance scheduled at 8:35 PM on the "Montagne Stage" as part of OSHEAGA Festival.
Last night, whilst performing onstage at the 9:30 club in Washington DC, deadmau5 collapsed, suffering exhaustion and vomiting. Medics at the venue took him directly to hospital where he is now under supervision.
deadmau5 is sad to advise his fans that on the strict advice of the doctors, he now has no choice but to cancel the next 9 shows of his Summer tour schedule to allow for his recovery.
Deadmau5 hopes to reschedule appearing in these cities in due course but in the meantime thanks all his fans for their understanding and support.
Please note that Metric originally scheduled to be on stage at 7:35 PM on Sunday, August 1st, will now be on stage at 8:30 PM. Organizers will send a revised schedule soon. Thank you for your understanding.

MEG Montreal Festival and OSHEAGA Music and Arts Festival are pleased to announce the launch of their new partnership: MEG Montreal Osheaga International.
After four editions of thriving collaborations, the creation of MMOI represents a restructuring of what our festivals have already been doing for years; hosting the local and international music industry for a series of great events.
As we move closer to the summer of 2010, our two events are uniting resources, know-how, and networks to make Montreal the ultimate destination for industry minds. Throughout four days of events, guests will be invited to share, reflect, and discover.
All MMOI activities and concerts will offer guests, from near and far, a festive and beneficial experience. Thanks to this annual gathering, a network spanning countries and continents will grow, sharing and developing ideas, all the while contributing to Montreals cultural output on an international level.
The MMOI Pass will grant access to all MEG Montreal and OSHEAGA concerts, special emerging talent showcases, a roundtable covering major issues being faced by the industry, and a dedicated meeting area in the heart of Parc Jean-Drapeau (during OSHEAGAs two days at this site).
This first edition of MMOI will lay the foundation for future years, as it grows to find itself among the premier music industry events in the world, simultaneously promoting and developing Montreal as a cultural hub. Ticketing
MMOI Pass: $200

No, your eyes aren’t playing tricks! Multi-platinum selling artist and hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg has been added to the Osheaga lineup! Fans will be able to catch Snoop’s set - backed by a full band - Sunday, August 1st. Snoop comes to Montreal in the midst of a busy summer schedule that sees him touring Europe as well as headlining dates on the Rock The Bells tour south of the border. We look forward to welcoming the one-and-only “Dogfather of rap” to Osheaga!
Montreal blues-rock mainstay Shane Murphy will hit the Osheaga stage Saturday, July 31st. Local Osheaga fans may have had the pleasure of hearing Shane jamming out at some of their favourite Montreal clubs over the years. Those who haven’t yet experienced a Shane Murphy performance will surely be impressed with the amount of soul that pours out of this Montreal native – not to be missed!
Osheaga is thrilled to announce that Georgia indie rockers of Montreal will help kick off Osheaga with an “In the City” performance Friday, July 30th at Metropolis. We will be teaming up with local promoters Blue Skies Turn Black and Greenland to bring you this very special concert. Tickets are $25 and go on sale this Friday at noon.
Unfortunately, Kelis will no longer be performing at Osheaga due to scheduling conflicts. We wish her the best on the rest of her tour.
Summer is coming, truly it is! By the time OSHEAGA rolls around on July 31 and August 1 fans will finally have put away their winter parkas for good, we promise. Incredible weather aside, Osheaga has added more incredible talent to their already solid line up.
Expanding the scope of the music styles offered at Osheaga, Canada’s own K’naan, whose signature song ‘Wavin’ Flag’ has taken on a life of its own, will join the Saturday, July 31 line up. The Somali-Canadian rapper’s song, originally included on his ‘Troubadour’ album, was re-recorded by a collection of 50 Canadian artists during the 2010 Vancouver Olympics as a fundraising effort for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. Reprised as the finale of the 2010 Juno awards, the song has also been re-recorded by K’naan to become the anthem for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa, which begins in June.
Other artists who have just been added to the July 31 line up are:
Fran Healy of the Scottish band Travis and French band Skip the Use.
And joining the festival on Sunday, August 1 are Horse Feathers, Galactic with special guest Cyril Neville of the Neville Brothers and local breakouts Ariel, who recently won the Francouvertes contest and will perform at this year’s edition of the Francofolies. Their video was a Buzzclip on Musqiue Plus last month.
Two other artists will be switching their schedules: Sarah Harmer moves from August 1 to July 31 and Ian Kelly makes the switch from July 31 to August 1.
Two of the summer’s most exciting music events are teaming up to bring even more beats to the people. This summer, Piknic Éléctronik will program its very own Zone Piknic Électronik stage at Parc Jean-Drapeau during the July 31 – August 1 Osheaga weekend.
Osheaga concert-goers will be able to get out and dance to some great European and North American DJs all day long throughout the weekend. Located right on the Osheaga site, the Piknic Électronik Zone will have its own DJ world set up near last year’s Tree Stage clearing. Close enough to all the other Osheaga stages, concessions and infrastructure, but hidden away just enough to allow the beats to hit their maximum bpms and keep the Osheagans moving all day long.
Osheaga tickets give fans full access to the Piknic Électronik stage this year. DJs announced so far include the following, with more to come later this summer:![]()
ESL crew w/DJ Bus, Sharivari and Skinny Bones
Mary Anne Hobbs (UK)
Roska (UK)
Hovatron (Montreal)
Lazer Sword (US)
Round Table Knights (Switzerland)
